Hey, I’m Kellie!

I am a holistic birth and postpartum doula serving the Hudson Valley region of New York, as well as parts of Westchester NY and Western CT. If you’re a momma to be and looking for a birth and/or postpartum doula and personal hype woman, then you are in the right place! My goal is to support women through their birth and postpartum journeys. I believe that ALL women regardless of your race, identity or beliefs deserve the most empowered, safe and beautiful birth story. My goal is to provide momma’s with the tools, education and resources they need to achieve their ideal birth experience. I will provide you with the emotional, spiritual and physical support to allow you to have a birth experience that you’re proud of. A woman’s body was built for birth and I want to encourage and allow women to entrust in the divine being that they already are and are creating.

Having gone to the Fashion Institute of Technology and getting a bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, one may think it odd that I found myself as a birth worker. While I have not always been in the birthworking field, as I reflect back on my life, I feel as though everything in my journey so far has led me to becoming a doula. I’ve always fiercely followed my passions, never resisting a change in my path to follow through with a new found interest. When I was 19 years old, my mom passed away suddenly. Though extremely heartbreaking and challenging to navigate life without my biggest role model and support system, I truly believe this experience allowed me to understand the appreciation and value that a mother plays in a child's life. If I can help other women feel empowered by their new role as a momma, and strengthen the bond they create with their child from the very beginning, I will have succeeded in carrying on the value in life that my mom gifted to me. 

I owe a lot of my growth and who I am as a person to the fulfilling connections, friendships and sisterhood I have created with the incredible women in my life. I want to continue to share this connection and support of women, and there is no better way to do this than during the most beautiful and sacred moment of their lives. Connection is power and I believe at the root of childbirth is connection. Through a grounded & empowered birth and postpartum experience with the right support, grows a beautiful relationship between momma and baby that is rooted in love and abundance.
